A friend suggested that we go to Taco Time on Aloma Ave, in the old KFC building.

It was a Taco Bell wantabe that has not quite made it yet. I had the Special number 1 - two tacos beef or chicken, soft drink, and of all things fries. I substituted chips and salsa. The menu item number 1 was about $5.00.

I had the chicken tacos they weren't bad, but nothing special. Another person in our party did not want their second beef taco so I had it. It tasted more like a taco but still was not special.

We were for some reason expecting a more authentic Mexican meal.

I tried the food here and was very dissapointed, terrible, and I eat everything. Never going back, I'd take taco hell over this any day of the week or spend a couple extra dollars and hit Betos, chipotile, tijuana flats, etc. Nice blog btw.

A couple of friends and I went to eat to The Taco Maker at Aloma Ave. three days ago and try it for the first time. The overall experience was great and the food was excellent as well. I had a taco and a burrito and both tasted much better than Taco Bell and you can tell that the quality of the food is way better.

My experience at this Taco Maker location: I went to this Taco Maker days ago and I noticed a new menu and prices. That's was very nice I love it. I could choose any item to make my own combo.

I love the food, but I wait more than 15 minutes for my food, and this is the third time that this happens to me.

I worked at the Taco Maker and ate there too. We throw away the bad food, everything is always made fresh, we do wash our hands! Taco Maker is more for the good taste buds of real Mexican food. If you rather eat at that english, fake froezen food at Taco Bell, you dont know anything of whats behind the kitchen because I worked there for 5 years! The manager is sometimes spanish and so what? Arnt you smart enough to learn two languages?

ADEMAS YO HABLO ESPANOL ASI QUE CUANDO VAYAS A COMENTAR ALGO DEL LUGAR DONDE TU TRABAJAS PIENSA EN EL CLIENTE PRIMERO ANORMAL....

I also worked at a taco maker (not the one from the post though). Not great but it will do in a pinch if you want tacos and there is no taco johns (or taco bell) nearby.

I won't dog the company with specific details, just if I had to have a job I would rather be a janitor than work at another taco maker.

I tried the Taco Maker yesterday and it was so good. Everything was so fresh. It took a little while but it was worth it because you could taste that everything was just made. I will go back.
